  Not sure what kind of place kicks out weary travelers when they show up for their stay with an infant, but this is it. No indication on the website that kids aren't welcome. Thankfully most other resorts in the area are way more friendly and accommodating and we were able to squeeze in elsewhere at the last minute. Wouldn't recommend based on the attitude of the owner even if you don't have a kid.

  No real structure or activities, but you are a few minutes away from the park, so you have to be your own tour guide.

  Scenery is nice, as are the hosts. If you are going to use the Jacuzzi, disinfect the hell out of it first. Food was good, except for the pasta - cheap and way overcooked every time. Stick to the other mains. Their eggs benedict is excellent.

  Close proximity to gas, groceries, lcbo which is a plus; road going past the lodge is a path to the local dump, so you may encounter a bear or two at night. If you are bringing a dog, remove his tags if walking it after dark - the noise from it attracted a bear to us.

  Incredible spot to refresh and rejuvenate. Casual dining service with excellent homestyle cooking. Cabins are well-appointed and comfortable. Jacuzzi tub is large and provide an excellent chance to relax, unwind and forget about adulting for a while.

  We are so glad we found this place!! We went for a few days over the Christmas holidays and really enjoyed it. The service was great, the food was nice and the cabin was adorable. Great spot for a couple’s weekend getaway! We will definitely be back.
